Phone, Lorimer Ave. Subway, New York
[ISO 800, Fujifilm Superia]
I took this a couple months after moving to New York. I was on one of my first forays into Brooklyn to visit a friend. Getting out of the subway car it struck me. Some people look at this photo and ask, “why did you take a picture of a phone?” I have my reasons. You can decide for yourself.
As an aside, welcome to the first post of my newly launched photoblog. I’ll be trying to post a photo a week. Given my glacial pace in taking new photos, I’ll be doing a lot of digging back through my archives. As a result, some of you will recognise these. With this new photo-focused presentation, hopefully you’ll rediscover them in a new light.

It’s great that you’ve taken this photo — How long until this will be a thing of the past? That time is fast approaching and then you can post this piccie on e-Bay and make your fortune ;-)
Am I the first to “Post a Comment”?
Love what you are doing.
Thanks and well done.

And thanks, Pamela, for alerting me to Nigel’s new site — I’m glad someone in the family cares and thinks enough to keep checking!
